Where were you born? I am a twin and that is why we were born in the hospital in Dokkum.
Do you have children? Yes, I have 1 daughter.
Where did you give birth? In the Dijklander hospital, under the supervision of the midwife from Eva van Hoorn.
Where and when did you graduate? In 2004 I graduated as educationalist and until 2021 I worked as a quality manager in childcare.
Why did you become manager kraamzorg? I love working with people and I enjoy being involved in guaranteeing quality of care in addition to directing the operation in which newborn children are central next to their mother/parents.
Since when do you work for Eva van Hoorn? I joined Eva van Hoorn in the summer of 2021.
What do you think is the strength of Eva van Hoorn? Eva van Hoorn is an organisation where everyone works with great passion and pleasure and where there are short lines of communication so that good care can be provided before, during and after a pregnancy.
What makes you happy? I enjoy many of the little things, but especially seeing my little girl growing up.
What do you prefer to do in your free time? I love doing little chores and creative activities in and around the house. I also like to play tennis and meet with my friends.
