In the Dijklander Ziekenhuis in Hoorn.
Do you have children?
Yes, one sweet daughter Fem and a boy Boet.
Where did you give birth? I was fortunate to give birth at home, twice.
Where and when did you graduate? In 2010 in Amsterdam.
Why did you become a midwife/ultrasound technician? I became a midwife and ultrasound technician because it is a beautiful experience to guide women and their partners in this special period. How beautiful it is to be able to tell that the heart is beating, that the baby is almost coming, and to hear a first cry. Every day is so special. Every pregnancy and every baby is unique.
Since when do you work at Eva van Hoorn? I’ve worked at Eva van Hoorn since 2016.
What do you think is the strength of Eva van Hoorn? The strength of Eva van Hoorn is the great team that works there and the warm and friendly atmosphere. The sweet assistants who welcome everyone. The two teams of midwives and the ultrasound team who work closely with each other and with colleagues from the Dijklander hospital.
What makes you happy? It makes me very happy to be able to guide all the many sweet, enthusiastic and grateful people in our practice.
Outside of my work, my family makes me very happy.
What do you prefer to do in your free time? Spending time with my partner, daughter, son, travelling together, working out and cooking.
